Off-Dry Red Wine

Variety: Vlachiko, Bekari 50% – Agiorgitiko 50%

Vineyards: From Epirus, three of her varieties, grown in high altitude vineyards of Zagori, Zitsa and Metsovo, 700m above sea level.

Microclimate: Harsh winters with substantial rainfall and cool summer nights, due to high altitude and river bridges, allow grapes to ripen slowly reaching the ideal maturation, retaining acidity and fully developing the distinctive flavors and aromas of these varieties.

Vinification: Grapes are handpicked and transported in small baskets. Classical red vinification takes place, without barrel ageing.

Alcohol content: 12%

Tasting notes: Ruby-red color. Intense fresh fragrance of ripen wild berries and cherries with notes of coffee and chocolate. Smooth on the palate, full-bodied, with well balanced tannins.

Serving suggestions: red meat, fish with red sauce, pasta and spicycheese.
